What is Suno Music Video?
Suno Music Video is an export endpoint that renders a finished Suno clip as an MP4. The video plays the clip audio with the clip artwork as the picture, which is what most platforms that only accept video need from a song. Like the other exports, it acts on a clip you already have: run a Suno job, take the clip_id from its result, and send it to suno-ai/video. The completed task returns video_url. The visual comes from the clip artwork, so if you want a different image, update the artwork first and render afterwards. Use it when a song has to live somewhere that expects video, and you do not want to open an editor to make one.
Key features of Suno Music Video
Four details describe the render.
MP4 output from a clip ID
Send clip_id and the task returns video_url, a hosted MP4. No timeline, encoder settings, or upload step on your side.
Uses the clip artwork as the picture
The video shows the artwork attached to the clip while the audio plays. Every clip from a Suno generation already has artwork, so the render works without extra input.
Change the visual with Cover Art first
To use a different image, generate new artwork for the clip with Suno Cover Art, then render. The music video always picks up the current artwork of the clip.
Same async task flow
Submit, get a task_id, then poll or receive a callback. The result shape is simple: one video_url to store or post.
Best for
Video-first social platforms
Post a generated song where audio-only uploads are not accepted, with the artwork on screen while it plays.
Landing pages and embeds
Put a playable song on a page as a standard MP4 element instead of a custom audio player.
Release packaging
Give each track a video version for platforms and channels that list music as video.
Playlist previews
Create quick visual previews for a playlist or a catalog page without editing software.
Use cases
Add a "Share as video" action to a song generator that calls suno-ai/video with the current clip ID and hands the user an MP4 they can post. Build an auto-publishing job that generates a track, sets new artwork with Suno Cover Art, renders the music video, and uploads it to a video channel. Turn a back catalog of clips into MP4s in one batch for a release page. When the destination needs an audio file instead of a video, the Suno MP3 Download API covers it.
API examples
The music video render is documented at docs.unifically.com/models/audio/suno/wav, next to the audio exports.
curl -X POST https://api.unifically.com/v1/tasks \
-H "Content-Type: application/json" \
-H "Authorization: Bearer YOUR_API_KEY" \
-d '{
"model": "suno-ai/video",
"input": {
"clip_id": "1901ec96-72c6-4c26-8e56-91028ca6070d"
}
}'
The response contains a task_id. Poll GET /v1/tasks/<task_id> or set a callback_url on the request to receive video_url when the render finishes.

Not in this request. The render uses the artwork attached to the clip. To change the visual, generate new artwork for the clip with Suno Cover Art first, then run the music video render.
One, clip_id. It is the ID of a clip returned by an earlier Suno job. There are no resolution, length, or style options.
It is currently not billed. Check the pricing page for the live rate, since export pricing can change.
No. The music video render packages a clip with its existing artwork into an MP4. Suno AI Video is a separate operation with its own page and parameters.
