What is SeeDance 2.0 Fast?
SeeDance 2.0 Fast is the speed-optimized model in ByteDance's SeeDance 2.0 family, called on UnificAlly as bytedance/seedance-2.0-fast. It carries over the full 2.0 input set instead of trimming it: text-to-video, first-and-last-frame, and omni-reference with up to nine images, three videos, and three audio files in one call. Videos run 4 to 15 seconds at 480p or 720p, and synchronized audio is generated with the picture unless you turn it off.
That makes Fast the 2.0 model for volume work. Use it to test prompts, wire up reference placeholders, and render social cuts in bulk, then send the requests that matter to Pro when the final pass needs it.
Key features of SeeDance 2.0 Fast
Omni-reference with up to 15 inputs
Mix up to nine images, three videos, and three audio files in one request. Name each one in the prompt as @Image1, @Video1, or @Audio1, numbered in upload order. Audio needs at least one image or video next to it.
Synchronized audio by default
generate_audio is on unless you set it to false, so the video comes back with sound generated from the prompt. Pass reference audio when you want a specific cue to guide it.
4 to 15 seconds, 480p or 720p
Pick any whole-second duration from 4 to 15 and either resolution: 480p or 720p. Text-to-video adds seven aspect ratios, including adaptive, 9:16, and 21:9.
Same request as Pro and Mini
Every SeeDance 2.0 model takes the same fields, so switching between Fast, Mini, and Pro is a one-line model ID change with no code rewrite.
What SeeDance 2.0 Fast is best for
Prompt sweeps
Run many short variations of one idea, keep the seeds of the good ones, and compare them before spending a Pro render.
Reference wiring tests
Check that @Image1, @Video1, and @Audio1 land where you expect in an omni-reference prompt before a long final render.
Social video in bulk
Render 9:16, 1:1, and 16:9 versions of the same idea for different placements by changing only the aspect ratio.
First-and-last-frame reveals
Give a start image and an end image and let the model fill the motion between them. Either frame alone also works.
Video with sound in one call
Ads, explainers, and short scenes that need audio come back as one file, with no separate sound pass.
SeeDance 2.0 Fast use cases
Batch 20 prompt variations for an ad concept at 720p, record each seed, and send the two best payloads to Pro unchanged. Turn a product shot and a packaging shot into a reveal with first-and-last-frame mode. Restyle a source video by passing it as @Video1 with a look image as @Image1 and a prompt that says what to change. Generate vertical and widescreen cuts of the same scene for a social calendar, with synchronized audio already in the file.
When to use SeeDance 2.0 Fast
Use Fast when you need many renders, quick turnaround, or audio-backed drafts at 480p or 720p. On UnificAlly, Fast bills $0.1212/sec at 720p, against $0.129/sec on SeeDance 2.0 Pro and $0.0875/sec on SeeDance 2.0 Mini. Pick Pro for hero shots, paid placements, and anything that needs 1080p or 4K. Pick Mini when cost per second matters most.

SeeDance 2.0 Fast is the speed-optimized model in ByteDance's SeeDance 2.0 family. It keeps the full 2.0 input set (text-to-video, first-and-last-frame, and omni-reference with up to nine images, three videos, and three audio files) and renders 4 to 15 second videos at 480p or 720p, with synchronized audio on by default.
Use bytedance/seedance-2.0-fast with POST /v1/tasks on UnificAlly. The request takes the same fields as SeeDance 2.0 Pro and Mini, so moving between the three is a one-line model ID change.
Resolution can be 480p or 720p, and duration is any whole number of seconds from 4 to 15. Text-to-video also takes an aspect ratio of adaptive, 1:1, 3:4, 4:3, 9:16, 16:9, or 21:9; frame and reference modes follow the input.
Yes. generate_audio defaults to true, so the video comes back with synchronized sound generated from the prompt. Set it to false for a silent video. In omni-reference mode you can also pass up to three audio files as @Audio1 to @Audio3, as long as at least one image or video reference is in the same call.
Billing is per second of output and depends on resolution: $0.0582/sec at 480p and $0.1212/sec at 720p. Reference videos add their own seconds on top. The full rate card is on the pricing page.
You can try it free. New UnificAlly accounts start with a $0.50 signup balance, enough for about 8 seconds of SeeDance 2.0 Fast video at 480p, and the browser playground on this page runs the same API. After that, billing is pay-per-use with no subscription, and the balance never expires.
Yes. Pass an integer seed with the prompt and references. Keep the seed with the request so you can re-render the same setup at 720p, or send the same payload to SeeDance 2.0 Pro for a side-by-side check or a 1080p or 4K render.
