FAQ

About Kling O1 Edit API

It takes a source video plus a text edit prompt. The returned clip matches the input duration. You can add reference images, optional IMAGE-only elements, and choose Standard or Pro.

Generate creates a fresh clip from prompts and references. Edit always starts from your footage and applies the described change.

Both reshape an input clip with references and Reference or Transform modes. Omni Edit allows VIDEO elements in the shared pool; O1 Edit keeps elements IMAGE-only in this schema. Compare docs for the exact element rules you need.

The playground allows uploads up to 10 minutes. Very long jobs may hit account limits; check the product limits page for your workspace.
