Kling API FAQ
- How much does the Kling API cost?
- On UnificAlly, Kling video starts at $0.0378 per second of output (Kling 2.6 and 2.5 Turbo Standard) and tops out at $0.378 per second for 4K on the 3.0 line. Kling image generation is $0.0252–$0.0504 per image. Billing is per generation with no subscription or monthly minimum; live rates are on the pricing page.
- Is there an official Kling API?
- Kuaishou offers an official Kling developer platform. UnificAlly provides the same Kling models through one REST API alongside every other video, image, audio and text model in the API — one balance, one API key, per-second billing, and a browser playground on every model page.
- Which Kling model should I use?
- Kling 4.0 is the current flagship: 3-30 second clips with stereo audio, keyframes, and up to 15 references at 720p or 1080p. Kling 3.0 and 3.0 Omni stay the route for 4K output. Kling 2.6 or 2.5 Turbo are the cheapest at $0.0378/sec for drafts and volume work. The O1 and Omni Edit routes edit existing footage instead of generating from scratch, and Motion Control transfers movement from a driving video onto a still subject.
- Is Kling AI free?
- There is no free tier. Every new UnificAlly account gets a $0.50 signup balance to test with, usable in the browser playground on every Kling model. Kling image generation starts at $0.0252 per image, and the cheapest video routes run $0.0378 per second. After that you pay per generation, with no subscription, and your balance never expires.
- Do I need a Kling subscription to use the API?
- No. UnificAlly is pay-per-use: you top up a balance and each generation deducts its exact cost. There is no monthly fee or seat license, and your balance never expires.
