SeeDance API FAQ
- How much does the SeeDance API cost?
- On Unifically, SeeDance video starts at $0.007 per second of output (1.0 Pro Fast at 480p, and the low end of 1.5 Pro) and runs up to $1.17 per second at the top of the 2.0 Pro range with reference video. Billing is per generation with no subscription or monthly minimum, and you pay for the seconds you actually generate. Live rates are on the pricing page.
- What is the difference between SeeDance 1.0, 1.5, and 2.0?
- SeeDance 2.0 is the current generation and the highest quality, with Pro, Fast, and Mini routes. SeeDance 1.5 Pro sits in the middle and spans the widest price range depending on resolution and audio. SeeDance 1.0 is the original cost-optimized line, and its Pro Fast variant is the cheapest route in the family at $0.007 per second.
- Which SeeDance model should I use?
- Start on SeeDance 1.0 Pro Fast or 2.0 Mini for drafts and volume work. Move to 2.0 Pro for final output where fidelity matters. Use 1.0 Pro when you need first/last frame control, and 1.5 Pro when you want audio generation in the same call.
- Is SeeDance 2.5 available yet?
- Not yet. ByteDance announced SeeDance 2.5 in June 2026 with native 30-second videos, up to 50 multimodal references, native 4K with 10-bit color, and region editing. It is not callable on Unifically until the API opens. The model page tracks its status.
- Do I need a subscription to use the SeeDance API?
- No. Unifically is pay-per-use: you top up a balance and each generation deducts its exact cost. There is no monthly fee, seat license, or credit expiry, and SeeDance shares one API key and balance with 60+ other video, image, and audio models.
